Welcome to the Responsible AI Design Course where you will learn how to create AI computing projects (including chatbots) using machine learning, Scratch, and the Micro:bit! This is an engaging way to take artificial intelligence and machine learning into the classroom.
Students learning to use AI won’t be enough—we need every parent, student, and teacher to understand how to shape AI and the underlying concepts driving it. By developing this deeper knowledge, parents and teachers can guide our students to be future innovators who create and manage responsible AI solutions.
Supporting AI Managers and AI Developers: this AI education professional development is about middle and high school teachers and parents learning how to teach students to responsibly manage and design artificial intelligence.
In this course, you will be introduced to the basics of programming using Scratch. If this is your first time programming, using Scratch is a great way to learn the basics of creating your first programs. If you created computer programs before, this is a great refresher to help bridge the gap between computer programming and artificial intelligence.
After learning the basics of programming, you will learn how to integrate physical devices and artificial intelligence into your programs. During the course, you will have a chance to build your own programs, including a personal chatbot, using the new skills you have learned.
Let's start making responsible AI computing projects with machine learning, the Micro:bit, and Scratch!
